Heron House is a vibrant reimagining of a family home in Abbotsford, where bold design meets approachable warmth.
Originally renovated in 2020 with a neutral palette and modern simplicity, the space was a clean yet restrained canvas. Alyssa Owens Design was engaged to layer the home with personality, infusing it with playful sophistication and expressive detail.
Thoughtful curation brought treasured pieces, such as a golden velvet Fler sofa and green marble dining table, into harmony with sculptural accents and tactile materials.

The nursery’s whimsical Gucci wallpaper and blush pink ceiling, paired with the master bedroom’s grounding palette of sumptuous fabrics, reflect the family’s evolving story, inspired by the arrival of their daughter, Genevieve.
